Be Still and Know
My acoustic guitar inner microphone system went out. The sound person at Salem House of Prayer said that she really wanted me to have an in-acoustic mic system because it makes things easier on her as she runs sound and overheads simultaneously and often there is no one else who is there to help her out. Without any money to repair it, I took it in anyway. The repair man at Guitar Center in Keizer (Josh) said that it was a bad preamp in the electronic system. So, he called Martin Co. who makes the guitar and they said the preamp wasn't covered by it's one year warranty anymore, but he said he's going to send me a free one anyway! Josh said the repair man just so happened to have it lying around when he called. Therefore it will only cost me $50 + strings ($10) for the repair (normally these systems cost between $100-$200, plus another $100 for the install procedure). Woot, woot, Awesome God!
