The Lord will Provide

God said The Lord will Provide to me in church service, when I asked him about Paul's broken bass and my broken acoustic guitar electronics.  I don't have the money to fix them, but God said to Be Still and Know the He is in control.  I got a text just after church that a friend was able to bring in his own bass and sit in to play the part!  When God takes over something we don't have the power to overcome, he always makes it better.  Our patience on Him is rewarded, though the much less fun part of praying and faith.  "Through Faith Abraham believed in God, and He credited to him as righteousness." 
Sometimes God calls us to Triumphantly march out into battle, overcome the enemy by the sword, and march back into the city leading the procession of praise (1 Chronicles 13:5-8).  Other times he calls us to overcome the enemy by lying on our side and cooking food with our own excrement  (Ezekiel 4:9-12).

 Malachi 1v2 Xref romans 9v13.  In the Book of Malachi we read about priests who have been corrupt. In the same way in the Book of Romans the priests were still corrupt as Malachi was written only 400 years prior to the time of Jesus christ. Lying for a good cause

 When I grew up I hated lying and I never wanted to lie ever. As I got older I realized that sometimes I lied for a good cause. And then I thought what is the moral stance of God on that issue? Well in King David's story we see that King David lied to another king that would have killed him otherwise. He pretended to be insane and let drool drip down onto his beard so that he could save his own skin. He also lied to King Saul when he evaded him. He also took bread from the priests and ate and drank so that he could survive. God considered all of these things righteous. For God had said that David was faithful in everything that he did except for in the case of Uriah the hittite. There are more examples but God does allow us to lie if it is for a good cause. Now he wants us to try to be honest at all times, but sometimes we are in an unfair game.
