Psalm 92

It is good to praise the Lord and make music to Your name, O Most High, proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp. For you make me glad by your deeds, Lord; I sing for joy at what your hands have done. How great are your works, Lord, how profound your thoughts!


Salmo 92 Es bueno alabar al Señor y hacer música a Tu nombre, Oh Altísimo, proclamando tu amor por la mañana y tu fidelidad por la noche, a la música de la lira de diez cuerdas ya la melodía del arpa. Porque tú me regocijas con tus obras, Señor; Canto de alegría por lo que tus manos han hecho. ¡Cuán grandes son tus obras, Señor, cuán profundos son tus pensamientos!

 Malachi 1v2 Xref romans 9v13.  In the Book of Malachi we read about priests who have been corrupt. In the same way in the Book of Romans the priests were still corrupt as Malachi was written only 400 years prior to the time of Jesus christ. Lying for a good cause

 When I grew up I hated lying and I never wanted to lie ever. As I got older I realized that sometimes I lied for a good cause. And then I thought what is the moral stance of God on that issue? Well in King David's story we see that King David lied to another king that would have killed him otherwise. He pretended to be insane and let drool drip down onto his beard so that he could save his own skin. He also lied to King Saul when he evaded him. He also took bread from the priests and ate and drank so that he could survive. God considered all of these things righteous. For God had said that David was faithful in everything that he did except for in the case of Uriah the hittite. There are more examples but God does allow us to lie if it is for a good cause. Now he wants us to try to be honest at all times, but sometimes we are in an unfair game.
